Chalkbot - Write it on the road

Right now, Lance Armstrong is speeding along the first leg of the Tour de France. He's riding to win—but he's also riding to raise awareness and improve the lives of 28 million cancer survivors worldwide.

You can be part of Lance's ride in an amazing way by having your personal message written in chalk along the course of the race. A high tech robot called Chalkbot will receive your message and print it on the road where all of the riders, fans, and media from around the world can see it. Chalkbot will also send you a photo of your message with the exact location it appeared on the course.

Father's day gift

Adam sent me a link to this story about a woman he worked with in Calgary. Stephanie is 30 years old and she is giving a kidney to her father who has diabetes.

Adam wrote: "Such a nice story. Wish I could do something like that for you."

Did I ever mention that I have the best son in the world? And the best mom? And the best friends? And the best dog?

One Flaw in Women

Women have strengths that amaze men...

Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

A real hero

In case you haven't seen it, this has been circulating by email:

John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed. The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head...but they failed to kill her. She was cared for in John 's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan. The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair.
The girl is coming along with her healing. John is a real Star of the war, and the hero of peace. You'll never see things like this in the news. Every person can make a difference in the life of someone even if it is one little girl.
